WOCC, Inc. Provides Funding for SEZARC Post-Doctoral Fellow, Dr. Shiho Sumigama

White Oak Conservation Center, Inc. has provided funding to the South-East Zoo Alliance for Reproduction & Conservation (SEZARC) for Dr. Shiho Sumigama’s post-doctoral fellowship.  Shiho has a background in semen freezing and will be focusing her efforts on the cryopreservation of African elephant semen using directional freezing technology.  It is hoped that freezing protocols will be improved using this advanced technology.  We wish Shiho the very best in her research efforts!
